Terms for using Sailor

A starter service agreement for Sailor users and evaluators. This draft should be reviewed by counsel before relying on it as legal advice.

Last updated April 22, 2026

These starter terms describe the intended relationship between Sailor Inc. and customers or evaluators using the Sailor search platform.

Using Sailor

You are responsible for API keys, account access, and using Sailor in compliance with applicable laws and third-party platform rules.

Plans and billing

Paid plans, credits, renewals, and checkout are governed by the plan details shown at purchase and managed through the Sailor dashboard.

Acceptable use

Do not use Sailor to abuse services, evade access controls, collect sensitive information unlawfully, or build harmful workflows.

Service changes

Sailor may update features, providers, limits, and documentation as the product evolves, with reasonable care for existing customers.

Sailor is provided on an as-available basis during early access and beta periods. We work to keep the service reliable, but upstream providers, search engines, and platform policies can affect availability or output.

Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, Sailor is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
